Boom Beach has found most of this success in the United States, which makes up about 44 percent of total player spending at $361 million. China takes a smaller slice at second, accounting for just under 10 percent of the game’s revenue. Boom Beach ranked No. 284 among all mobile games for revenue in August.
A majority of in-app purchases came from iOS users who are responsible for 62 percent of Boom Beach revenue ($512 million). Despite not contributing as much financially, Google Play users accounted for 53 percent of Boom Beach’s 140 million downloads.
